Is Zerust a bank?
No. Zerust is a wallet and card app. Card services will be provided by a licensed card issuer. Your dollars sit in a wallet you control, not in an account with us.
Who holds my money?
You do. Your dollars sit as USDC in your own wallet. When you pay by card, only that payment is pulled, at the moment you pay.
What does “Zero trust required” mean?
You should not have to trust us with your money. You can check your balance and every payment on-chain, and you can move your money out without asking anyone.
Can my card be paused?
Yes. A card can be paused, for example while a document is checked. Your money is not affected, and we always show the reason, the date, what we need and how to reach a person.
What happens to my money if Zerust closes?
It stays in your wallet. Because we never hold it, you can move it with any compatible wallet app. We will publish the exact steps before launch.
